These posters were designed to promote the Michigan Theater's showing of three classic silent movies, D.W. Griffith's Intolerance, Douglas Fairbanks Jr.'s Thief of Bagdad, and Ben-Hur. All used typography and graphic elements inspired by each movie's plot and set design. Each movie was run with live orchestral accompaniment.
