The theme of the Fall 2010 issue of Findings is the influence that place and location have on public health. Together with the Spring 2010 issue, this issue received a Gold Award from CASE for Best Specialized or Unit-Level Magazine in the 2010 Pride of CASE V District Awards program. This issue also received a Silver Award from the Ann Arbor Ad Club for 2010.

This issue addresses the various issues affecting the health of children, both in the U.S. and in the world at large. Together with the Fall 2010 issue, this issue received a Gold Award from CASE for Best Specialized or Unit-Level Magazine in the 2010 Pride of CASE V District Awards program. In addition, Dale Keiger, the noted writer for Johns Hopkins and publisher of the blog UMagazinology, singled out the feature article "Voices in the Night" for praise in his presentation at the national CASE Conference in spring 2011.

This issue dealt with the dreams and aspirations of Americans in relationship to public health. Together with the Spring 2009 issue, this issue received a national Silver Award from CASE for Special Interest Magazines, and a 2010 Gold Addy Award from the Ann Arbor Ad Club.

The Spring 2009 issue of Findings covered various public health aspects of food and nutrition in the 21st century. This issue received a national Gold Award from CASE for Excellence in Design, a national Silver Award from CASE for Special Interest Magazines, and a 2010 Gold Addy Award and the Best of Show Award from the Ann Arbor Ad Club.

The 2008 issues of Findings focused on how we care for others and how relationships impact public health in our professional and personal lives.

The Spring 2007 issue featured an article on dioxin contamination while the Fall 2007 issue focused on how we learn.
